About Me

“I earned my Bachelor of Career Arts from Southwestern Assemblies of God College in Waxahachie, Texas, graduating Cum Laude.  I attended Christ for The Nations Bible Institute and graduated with a Certificate in Organ and Bible Studies.

Music in itself is truly a secret journey for all who embark upon the adventure!  Although I played piano as a child, I never foresaw the miracle that would someday manifest—that I would become a music teacher. I knew that I wanted to be a teacher since age 5, but becoming a music/piano teacher was a spontaneous surprise. The Journey was arduous, adventurous, tedious, and difficult, but I was eventually successful. I have a MOTTO—I NEVER QUIT!

Teaching is my passion, my love, my journey, and my joy!  Allowing my teaching gifts to blossom as a private music teacher invigorates my soul with happiness. Individualized Instruction with patience, kindness, and sensitivity to the student and the music has been my philosophy from Day 1.  I love helping students develop musical artistry from the early age of 4 through adulthood.

Why?

FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC!”

My goal is to make sure that learning music, especially piano, is interesting and engaging for every student. I believe that a positive and stimulating learning environment is crucial for success, and I strive to create that atmosphere in my studio. My goal is to empower my students to reach their full potential as musicians through a tailored and engaging learning experience.
